Educational Visits

at the Manchester Buddhist Centre

Clear Vision runs the education service for the Manchester Buddhist Centre, one of the largest urban Buddhist centres in Europe.

Local Buddhists have turned this Victorian warehouse into a strikingly beautiful place, open to the public.

Around 2,000 pupils and students visit us annually on guided visits, including a tour of the ground floor and shrine room, discussion, Q&A and a meditative stilling exercise (optional).

Not just for schools! Our Educational Visits service is for any groups of people, adult learners, universities, office teams etc. We also come to your school or place of work – get in touch for more info.

We offer visits of varying lengths to suit your needs.

How about a joint Buddhist-Christian visit?

Photograph of Manchester Cathedral

Joint visits to Manchester Cathedral (Church of England) and the Manchester Buddhist Centre are a fantastic opportunity for pupils to visit two contrasting places of worship and consider what is meant by a place of peace or sacred space.
